Stuffed Shells

I had some cottage cheese that was about to go bad and some frozen spaghetti sauce (sometimes I add ground turkey) that needed to get used up.  So out came these stuffed shells.  I dusted off the old bread machine and made some homemade bread to go with this, along with a salad.  It was perfect.

1 package Jumbo Shells
2 cups cottage cheese
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
1 T Italian Seasoning
1 t garlic salt
3 cups spaghetti sauce (canned or homemade-your choice)
1/2 cup mozzarella cheese

Make shells according to package.  Place cottage cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic salt and Italian seasoning in bowl.  Mix well.  Once shells are cooked, run under cold water to cool completely.  When cool, place 1-2 Tablespoons of the cheese mixture inside the shells.  Put in a 9 x 11 baking pan.  When all shells are stuffed, pour sauce over the top.  Cover with foil.  Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.  Take off foil and sprinkle with cheese.  Bake an additional 10 minutes until cheese is melted.
